San Dieguito Tennis Club Professional Brad Humphreys, USPTA Certified is inducted into the Idaho State University Sports Hall of Fame on September 9, 2006

Humphreys was a four-year letter winner (1962-1965), qualifying for the NCAA Tournament and leading the Bengals to the first two Big Sky Conference tournament titles. Humphreys, who played at #2 singles for three years behind his doubles partner and fellow Hall of Famer, Don Axtell, won four Big Sky titles, two in singles and two in doubles.

 

Humphreys won the Idaho State Open Championship four times, was ranked as high as #17 in the nation by the United State Professional Tennis Association, won the USPTA National 35 Doubles Championships with Bill Bond in 1983, has been published in Tennis Magazine, was selected USTA San Diego Pro of the Year in 1990 and USPTA San Diego Pro of the Year in 1992. The San Dieguito Tennis Club has employed Humphreys since 1970.
